The only day of the year it’s legal — and we’re spinning the kip. Come down and join us for Sydney’s favourite ANZAC Day tradition. Whether you’re a seasoned punter or a first-timer, there’s nothing quite like the roar of the crowd when those pennies land.

Live Music 🎸

We’ve got live tunes rolling through the afternoon and into the evening (12 to 6pm), with the party amping up from 4pm with DJs at Sweethearts Terazza from 4pm. Kick back with a cold one and enjoy the sounds brought to you by the Clan Macleod Pipe Band to your ANZAC Day.

Potts Point Hotel has been a Kings Cross institution for decades. This ANZAC Day, we’re keeping it simple: good beer, great mates, Two Up, and live music. No gimmicks, no fancy packages – just a proper pub day the way the diggers would’ve wanted it.

Yes. Two Up is legal in NSW on ANZAC Day only (25 April each year). Under the Gambling Act, licensed venues can host Two Up games from 12pm on ANZAC Day. Potts Point Hotel runs Two Up in the venue, with an outdoor seating area to enjoy your day to its fullest. Cash bets only, and you must be 18+ to play.

We recommend booking ahead, but no booking is required. ANZAC Day at Potts Point Hotel is free entry, with walk-ins available. Arrive early to secure a good spot inside or in the outdoor area, especially if you want to get in on the Two Up action.

Yes. Live music by the Clan Macleod Pipe Band runs throughout ANZAC Day at Potts Point Hotel, complementing the Two Up and pub atmosphere. Acts perform from the afternoon into the evening.

Standard, casual pub attire. We really are quite casual here folks, just a few rules please: No feather boas, no veils, no dress ups and limited table decorations. Please keep it tasteful! Closed shoes recommended if you’re getting into the Two Up circle. We’ll have our outdoor area available too, so dress for autumn weather.

Potts Point Hotel is at 33-35 Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point NSW 2011. We’re a 3-minute walk from Kings Cross Station. Multiple bus routes stop nearby on Darlinghurst Road. Street parking is available but check ANZAC Day restrictions.
